Current Status

Launched 6 Firefly hyperspectral satellites in 2024, building out a constellation for high-resolution hyperspectral Earth imaging. Hyperspectral data captures hundreds of spectral bands, enabling analysis far beyond traditional RGB/multispectral imagery for agriculture, mining, environment, and defense.

Future Outlook

Hyperspectral imaging is a high-growth niche in Earth observation — Pixxel is the leading commercial player. Full constellation will enable global coverage with data products for agriculture, environmental monitoring, mineral exploration, and defense. India-based cost advantage in satellite manufacturing.
