Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 25, 2026
SpaceOdysseyHub (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over your data. By using this site you agree to the practices described below.
Information We Collect
We collect your email address when you subscribe to our newsletter. We use Vercel Analytics (privacy-friendly, no cookies) to understand aggregate page views. When you consent to advertising or analytics cookies, additional identifiers may be collected as described in the sections below.
Categories of personal information collected
- Identifiers — email address (when you subscribe to the newsletter or contact us).
- Internet or other electronic network activity — pages visited, referrer, device type, approximate location derived from IP, and interaction events captured by analytics.
- Commercial information — purchase history for digital products bought through Gumroad (handled by Gumroad under their own privacy policy).
- Inferences — interest signals used by Google AdSense for ad personalization, only when you have consented.
How We Use Your Information
- Newsletter emails: to send you space news updates
- Analytics: to understand which content is most useful
- Advertising: to show relevant ads and measure their performance, only when you have given consent
- Site security and abuse prevention: to detect and block malicious traffic

Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We group ours into three categories:
Essential cookies
These keep the site working and remember your cookie consent choice so we don’t prompt you again on every visit. They cannot be turned off.
Analytics cookies
Vercel Analytics is privacy-friendly and uses no cookies. Google Analytics 4 (GA4), when loaded, sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to measure aggregate usage. GA4 is loaded only after you consent via the on-site cookie banner.
Advertising cookies
Google AdSense, when loaded, sets cookies that may be used for personalized advertising and frequency capping. AdSense is loaded only after you consent via the on-site cookie banner. You can also opt out of personalized ads at Google Ads Settings.
Managing or opting out
- Use the on-site cookie consent banner to grant or withdraw consent at any time.
- Configure your browser to block or delete cookies (see your browser’s help pages).
- Visit our Cookie Policy page for the full list of cookies, vendors, and retention periods.
Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), gives you the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Right to Know — request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
- Right to Delete — request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
- Right to Correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
- Right to Opt-Out of the Sale or Sharing of Personal Information— direct us not to “sell” or “share” your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information — restrict use of any sensitive categories to what is necessary to provide the service.
- Right to Non-Discrimination — we will not deny service, charge different prices, or provide a different level of quality because you exercised any of these rights.
Global Privacy Control (GPC)
We honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal as a valid opt-out request under CPRA. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to limit the use and sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising — no separate opt-out action is required from you. Learn more at globalprivacycontrol.org.
Interest-based advertising delivered through Google AdSense may constitute “sharing” under CPRA because identifiers are passed to a third party for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell personal information for money. To opt out of this sharing, either:
- Use the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in the site footer, which records your preference and disables advertising cookies, or
- Email privacy@spaceodysseyhub.com with your request.
We will verify your identity before fulfilling a Right to Know, Delete, or Correct request, typically by matching the email address on file. Authorized agents may submit requests on your behalf with written permission.
GDPR / European Users
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and equivalent laws apply to your personal data.
Legal basis for processing
- Consent — for newsletter signup, advertising cookies, and Google Analytics.
- Legitimate interest — for privacy-friendly analytics (Vercel Analytics), security logging, and fraud prevention.
- Contract — for processing purchases of digital products you have requested.

- Right to rectification of inaccurate data (Article 16)
- Right to erasure / “right to be forgotten” (Article 17)
