About
Argentina's suborbital launch and test range, where CONAE flies the experimental VEx vehicles that prototype technology for the Tronador national launcher. VEx-1B (2014-08-15) was the first liquid-fuelled rocket launched in Latin America. No launch from the site has been verified since 2017, and the Tronador programme has been severely cut back amid CONAE's 2026 budget reductions.
