Designation: Blue Origin NS Pressure Suit
The white suit Jeff Bezos wore on Blue Origin's first crewed New Shepard flight — clean and functional, worn by commercial passengers reaching 107 km altitude.
The Blue Origin New Shepard pressure suit is the intravehicular suit worn by all New Shepard crew members on commercial suborbital flights from the West Texas launch facility. Designed entirely in-house by Blue Origin, the white suit features a simplified construction optimized for the 10–11 minute New Shepard flight profile — the entire mission above the Kármán line (100 km) lasts approximately 4 minutes. The suit has no independent life support: it connects via umbilical to the New Shepard Crew Capsule's environmental control system and pressurizes only in an emergency. The helmet is an integrated soft hood with face shield, not a separate hard helmet. On July 20, 2021 — the 52nd anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon landing — Jeff Bezos, his brother Mark Bezos, Wally Funk, and Oliver Daemen flew as New Shepard NS-16's crew. Wally Funk, aged 82, became the oldest person ever to fly to space wearing this suit; Oliver Daemen, aged 18, became the youngest.
