Tianwen-2 launches — China's first asteroid sample-return mission

Long March 3B lofts the Tianwen-2 spacecraft toward near-Earth asteroid 469219 Kamoʻoalewa, Earth's quasi-satellite. Sample return is planned for 2027, followed by an extended cruise to main-belt comet 311P/PANSTARRS.
