Overview
Builds and sells standardized smallsat buses and full spacecraft as a merchant supplier — to Lockheed Martin, other primes, commercial operators and space agencies — plus mission services and, from 2026, discrete components such as star trackers; inside Lockheed Martin it functions as an in-house high-rate bus line also permitted to sell externally.
Moat: A decade of delivered flight hardware (80+ missions) across seven standardized bus platforms, backed since October 2024 by Lockheed Martin's balance sheet, plus a European ESA-qualified deep-space franchise via subsidiary Tyvak International that US-only competitors cannot bid.
